Develop and execute the IT strategy aligned with Amradnet's business and clinical goals
Lead digital transformation initiatives, including cloud adoption and workflow automation
Advise executive leadership on technology risks, opportunities, and investments
Oversee all IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud platforms, and end-user systems
Ensure high availability and performance of teleradiology platforms (PACS, RIS, VPNs, etc.)
Manage system scalability to support growing imaging volumes and global operations
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA-equivalent standards where applicable)
Lead cybersecurity strategy, including threat detection, incident response, and data protection
Maintain secure transmission and storage of sensitive patient imaging data
Oversee integration and optimisation of radiology systems (PACS, RIS, voice recognition, reporting tools)
Collaborate with radiologists and operations teams to improve workflow efficiency
Ensure interoperability with hospital and client systems
Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans
Ensure 24/7 system support for critical teleradiology operations
Minimise downtime and ensure rapid issue resolution

Role Description

This is a remote role for a Head of IT at AMRADNET, with the need to travel to the office or data centre when needed. In this position, you will oversee the company's IT operations and strategy, ensuring the integrity, security, and efficiency of our technology systems. Your responsibilities will include managing IT infrastructure, designing and implementing technical solutions, and driving digital transformation initiatives to support the organization’s growth. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology capabilities with business objectives and deliver cutting-edge healthcare solutions.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute the IT strategy aligned with Amradnet’s business and clinical goals
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives, including cloud adoption and workflow automation
  • Advise executive leadership on technology risks, opportunities, and investments

Infrastructure & Systems Management

  • Oversee all IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud platforms, and end-user systems
  • Ensure high availability and performance of teleradiology platforms (PACS, RIS, VPNs, etc.)

Cybersecurity & Compliance

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 8–12+ years of IT experience
  • Experience in healthcare IT, preferably radiology or teleradiology

Strong knowledge of:

  • PACS/RIS systems
  • Cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Networking, VPNs, and secure data transmission
  • Cybersecurity frameworks
  • AI applications in Radiology
